SAP Rollout Projects
Rollout Projects consist of a draft SAP setup; means to expand to a new country, company or place of production. Unlike the classical implementation, it is based on the previously created draft design.
At the conceptual design stage, the existing design is examined and a fit-gap analysis is undertaken. In this sense, it is essential to stick to the outline as much as possible in Rollout projects. Gaps that come out during the conceptual design phase are approved by a board and only then implemented on the system. In particular, there is not much discussion about the change requests required by the legal legislation.
If a Rollout is made to another country, the legal obligations in that country are quickly accepted. Change requests may also occur due to market dynamics outside the legal regulations or due to the dynamics of the relevant business processes. In such cases, the approval process is run by performing an impact and benefit analysis.
All approved change requests can be shared with all countries, companies and locations so that the units there can benefit from the changes.
These changes can be applied to the live system together with the organization where the rollout is made, or it can be made available to other units with a Retrofit project after the related Rollout project.

SAP Parallel Accounting Consulting
You can use parallel accounting by running parallel ledgers (standard ledgers) for different accounting principles. Then, depending on the type of posting, you can post data to one ledger at a time or to the available ledgers at once. Parallel Accounting is a Key Tool for Global Companies with Multiple Reporting Requirements

SAP's Parallel Accounting can be implemented using either of these two options:

Parallel Accounts - in which multiple accounting principles are assigned to the leading ledger

Parallel Ledgers - in which multiple ledgers are used, with an accounting principle applied to each ledger

The account-based approach uses account logic identifiers to assign accounting principles, like using unique prefixes to determine which accounts use IFRS vs GAAP principles. In contrast, the ledger-based approach groups all accounts for a particular principle into a non-leading ledger, with all non-leading ledgers then rolling up into a single Leading Ledger.
Both methods allow companies to make valuations against accounting principles required for specific country or locale and prepare for closing for specific company codes, while retaining the ability to pull everything together for enterprise-wide management.
